Wizz Air launches the Sibiu - London route from 14 June 2014, as I announced yesterday. There will be 2 flights on weekdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, with departure time 22: 20, and in the fall, depart at 12: 50. Prices start from 179 lei with taxes included.
Romania's regional airports seek to develop and attract as many airlines as possible. Improperly said "as many as possible" because there is no very large market, and the only airlines that show interest are the low-cost ones.
Wizz Air is one of the few airlines that have started operating flights from several airports in Romania, being encouraged by the state aid offered for opening new routes.

Currently, Wizz Air flies from airports: Timisoara (1 allocated aircraft - 11 routes); Craiova (summer base, 1 assigned aircraft - 8 routes); Cluj Napoca (3 allocated aircraft - 16 routes); Targu Mures (1 allocated aircraft - 12 routes); Bucureşti (7 allocated aircraft - 29 routes); Arad (1 route).
Market rumors I say that Wizz Air will also enter the airport in Sibiu and the first route will be Sibiu - London (Luton) starting from 14.06.2014, indicative date.
