More and more low cost airlines are announcing long-haul flights from / to EUROPA. Today I am writing about the new Singapore - Athens route announced by Scoot. It will be operated starting June 20, 2017.
Singapore - Athens with Scoot
There will be 4 weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, following the following schedule:
TZ702: Singapore 02:00 - 08:30 Athens
TZ701: Athens 12:00 - 04:25 + 1 Singapore
The flight duration will be approximately 11 hours, and the prices start from 190 EURO. Currently, the Scoot fleet consists of Boeing 787-8 / 9 Dreamliner aircraft. They are configured in two classes and can carry up to 335 passengers (787-8 variant) and 375 passengers (787-9 variant).
Scoot is a low-cost operator in Singapore, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. Started work on 4 June 2012. Athens will be the first European destination, and you can fly to TAROM, Aegean Airlines and Ryanair from Bucharest or Blue Air from Constanța to the capital of Greece.
