The alert status is extended in Romania until May 12, 2021 (Decision no. 22 of April 8, 2021)
Today, April 8, the National Committee for Emergency Situations adopted Decision no. 22 of April 8, 2021. On this occasion, new restrictive measures were adopted that will be applied on the Romanian territory, but also some relaxation measures. Below I will mention some of them.

It is considered necessary to maintain the obligation to wear a protective mask in public spaces, at work, in commercial spaces, as well as in public transport, for all persons who have reached the age of 5, under the conditions established by joint order of the Minister. Health and the Minister of the Interior.
It is considered necessary to maintain prohibitions on the organization and conduct of rallies, demonstrations, processions, concerts or other types of gatherings in open spaces, as well as gatherings of the nature of cultural, scientific, artistic, sporting or indoor entertainment.
The activities of museum institutions, libraries, bookstores, cinemas, film and audiovisual production studios, performance and / or concert institutions, folk, art and craft schools, as well as outdoor cultural events take place only under the established conditions. by joint order of the Minister of Culture and the Minister of Health.
It is proposed to maintain the ban on organizing private events (weddings, baptisms, festive meals, etc.) in closed spaces such as, but not limited to, salons, cultural centers, restaurants, bars, cafes, event halls / tents.
It is proposed to maintain the activity of restaurants and cafes inside hotels, boarding houses or other accommodation units, without exceeding 50% of the maximum capacity of the space and only in the time interval 0600-2200, in the counties / localities where the cumulative incidence of cases in the last 14 days is less than or equal to 1,5 / 1.000 inhabitants, without exceeding 30% of the maximum capacity of the space and only in the time interval 0600-2200 if the cumulative incidence in the last 14 days of the cases in the county / locality is higher of 1,5 and less than or equal to 3 / 1.000 inhabitants and only for persons accommodated within these units in the counties / localities where the incidence of 3 / 1.000 inhabitants in the last 14 days is exceeded.
Hotels can be occupied up to 70%
The limitation of the degree of occupation of the accommodation spaces within the tourist reception structures, as defined in art. 2 lit. d) of the Government Ordinance no. 58/1998 on the organization and development of tourism in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions, at most 70% of their maximum capacity, located in the following localities / areas where skiing or other winter sports are practiced or are located on Black Sea coast:
- Azuga, Busteni and Sinaia in the county Prahova;
- Băile Tușnad, Borsec, Băile Homorod, Harghita-Băi from Harghita County;
- Borșa and Cavnic from the county Maramures;
- Poiana Brașov, Predeal and Bran from the county Braşov;
- Sovata from the county Mureş;
- Vatra Dornei from the county Suceava;
- Voineasa from the county dale;
- Borlova-Muntele Mic area, Turnu Ruieni commune in the county Caras- Severin;
- Arieșeni from the county Alba;
- Durău from the county German;
- Novaci-Rânca from the county Gorj;
- Păltiniș from the county Sibiu;
- Stâna de Vale from the county Bihor;
- The county guard Hunedoara;
- Constanța, Cap Aurora, Costinești, Eforie Nord, Eforie Sud, Tuzla, Jupiter, 2 Mai, Vama Veche, Zona Mamaia Nord, Mamaia Sat, Mangalia, Neptun-Olimp, Saturn, Techirghiol, Năvodari and Venus from the county Constanta.
