For June 1, TAROM is preparing new special flights! The second edition of the event "ENGINE AIRCRAFT, TAKE ME AND FLY!" Will be organized, and the big surprise is that this year TAROM will also fly from Timisoara!
Therefore, the flights will be performed both from the “Henri Coandă” Bucharest International Airport and from the “Traian Vuia” Timişoara International Airport, lasting approximately 45 minutes, and the takeoffs and landings will take place at the same airport. The children will board a Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft to get acquainted with the flight, to get to know the flight crew and to visit the cockpit, where they will be explained what it means to fly an airplane, having the opportunity to learn how it also shows how the on-board equipment works.
This first flight lesson can benefit children who at the time of travel are between 3 years old (over) and 12 years old (under) and who are accompanied by an adult. Please note that an adult can accompany a maximum of 3 children.
