The total solar eclipse that took place on April 8, 2024, fascinated millions of locals in Mexico, the US and Canada, but also millions of tourists who traveled from all over the world to enjoy this rare phenomenon. But astronomers come with good news. Another total solar eclipse will take place on August 12, 2026 and will be visible in Europe, Sky News reports.

This will be the first total eclipse in Europe in 27 years. It will have a duration of 02m18s and will be visible from northern North America, West Africa, Europe / Arctic, Greenland, Iceland, Spain.

A year later, on August 2, 2027, another total solar eclipse will be visible in Spain and North Africa. This will also be the longest total solar eclipse. It will take 6 minutes and 23 seconds.

On July 22, 2028, another total solar eclipse will be visible from southeast Asia, eastern India, Australia, New Zealand.
