Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is extending the suspension of flights due to the extension of the closure of the Ukrainian airspace. An official NOTAM from the State Aviation Service was issued for this decision. UIA will no longer operate scheduled and charter flights to / from Ukraine until March 23, 2022.
The UIA emphasizes that it will maintain relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. Given the difficult situation in martial law, the airline draws attention to the possibility of forced delays and difficulties in feedback on passenger communication channels and relies on agreement.
All information about the subsequent status of the flights will be posted on the official website of the UIA . Currently, canceled flight passengers can benefit from a free change of flight date for an unused ticket. Reimbursement according to the rules of the airline will be possible starting March 26, 2022.
Passengers of canceled flights will be informed of further action by email or telephone, which are specified in the booking. Passengers must verify that the contact information for Ukraine International Airlines is correct (email, phone number).
