Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe, today announced the return of wages to the pre-Covid-19 level, starting with October 1, 2021. The announcement comes in the context in which Wizz Air has started the largest campaign of recruitment for pilots and flight attendants, respecting its ambitious growth plans.

As Wizz Air continues to intensify its operations in its network, the airline plans to hire 200 pilots and 800 flight attendants by December 2021. Over the next ten years, Wizz Air plans to generate thousands of seats. work, aiming to triple its fleet, up to 500 Airbus aircraft. To fill the positions created by this growth, Wizz Air will hire an average of 2000 new recruits each year, by 2030.
Recruitment efforts come after a year of rapid expansion for Wizz Air, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. Since March 2020, Wizz Air has opened 18 new bases and over 300 new routes in its network, which stretches across Europe and beyond, and now flies at over 100% of pre-covid capacity, with over 1000 routes to 197 of destinations in 49 countries.
