Europe's fastest growing and most environmentally sustainable airline globally celebrates today the 10th anniversary of the first WIZZ flight from the airport from Craiova to Milan, operated on May 13, 2013, raising the bar for affordable and reliable air travel options in the region.
To mark the anniversary, Wizz Air is offering a special promotion. One lucky passenger traveling on flights between Craiova and Milan will be randomly selected and receive a 100 EUR voucher, which can be used for Wizz Air products and services.
Wizz Air continued to develop and expanded its operations by opening a base in Craiova in October 2015.
With a modern fleet, the airline already operates 10 routes to 6 countries from Craiova Airport and has transported more than 3 million passengers in the last 10 years of operations. Wizz Air currently operates regular flights from Craiova to Brussels, Billund, Paris, Cologne, Bologna, Milan, Rome, Turin, Barcelona, Madrid, Birmingham and London.
