All 3 routes will be honored with two weekly flights, operated with 320-seat Airbus A180 aircraft registered in Hungary.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the air carriers established in Romania were invited to, within 15 days from the publication of the request issued by Wizz Air, to submit applications to be designated for operation on the routes: Bucharest - Antalya and return, Cluj - Antalya and return, Iași - Antalya and return. Following this invitation, Animawings submitted the request to operate flights from Romania (Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara) to Antalya, totaling 8 flights per week.

Following an agreement concluded between Romania and Turkey, on 02.03.2011, the airlines designated by the Romanian side can operate up to 14 weekly flights from any airport in Romania to Antalya. At the date of the request issued by Wizz Air, Ai Bucharest had a favorable approval to operate 2 weekly flights on the route Cluj - Antalya. If Turkey does not approve the increase in the number of flights from Romania to Antalya to 16 per week, Wizz Air will have to operate only 5 flights a week, and Animawings will have to fly 7 times a week.

Given that there are a few days until the date when Wizz Air would like to start flights from Romania to Antalya, we expect the routes to be loaded into the systems as soon as possible. The same goes for Animawings.
