On 22 April Edelweiss Air opened the route Zurich - Rio de Janeiro. It is operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, following the following schedule:
WK96 Zurich (ZRH) 14:25 - 21:25 Rio de Janeiro (GIG)
WK97 Rio de Janeiro (GIG) 23:05 - 15:20 + 1 Zurich (ZRH)
The flight duration is approximately 12 hours. Edelweiss uses Airbus A330-300 aircraft configured in clear 3: 27 seats in Business Class, 56 seats in Economy Plus and 232 seats in Economy.
