Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL) announced that it will allocate two new Airbus A321neo LR aircraft to HiSky airline. Scheduled to be delivered to HiSky in March 2023, the two A321neo LR aircraft join a fleet consisting of one Airbus A319 and four A320s.

"ALC is pleased to announce this order placed by HiSky for two new A321neo LRs," said David Beker, Air Lease Corporation Senior Vice President. “HiSky launched in 2020 with A320 family aircraft supplied exclusively by ALC and have steadily grown their business since then. The airline is now ready to take the next step in their growth plans and we are delighted to support this expansion with two new A321neo LRs.”

"The addition of these two new A321neo LR aircraft is the right ingredient to support our growth strategy in 2023," said HiSky CEO Iulian Scorpan. "We are grateful to ALC leasing company for the opportunity to operate the most modern aircraft in the industry, offering top performance, autonomy and efficiency. Starting in April 2023, HiSky passengers will benefit from several long-haul non-stop flight solutions that will be announced this autumn.”

The new A321neoLR aircraft, known simply as A321LR, can carry up to 206 passengers over a maximum distance of 7400 kilometers. Thus, a flight from Bucharest to the Maldives or Zanzibar will be able to operate directly, without a stopover. We can't wait for the long-haul routes that HiSky will operate from the 2023 summer season.
