The French government intends to allow foreign tourists to travel în Franta starting June 9th. But this can be done provided that each tourist has a vaccination certificate against COVID-19 or a negative PCR test.
President Emmanuel Macron announced, however, that terraces cafes and restaurants will be able to reopen on May 19 along with museums, cinemas, theaters and concert halls, all under certain conditions. According to the American news agency AP, the French government is slowly starting to partially relax the restrictions, despite the fact that there are still a large number of cases of coronavirus and hospitalized patients with COVID-19.
Restaurants and cafes will be able to serve guests al fresco dining a maximum capacity of six people starting May 19, when the night restriction will be applied from 21:00. Non-essential shops will also be reopened, as well as cultural sites and sports facilities, which will have an occupancy limit of 800 people indoors and 1.000 outdoors.
On June 9, cafes and restaurants will be open until 23:00. Events of up to 5.000 people will be allowed.
The last stage of the plan will apply from June 30. Night restrictions and most other restrictions will be lifted, although nightclubs will remain closed.
