Following the decision of the Moroccan authorities, all flights from Morocco to the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands are suspended until further notice. In addition, passengers can change their ticket date and destination free of charge until 15 December or receive a refund voucher valid for 12 months from issue. In addition, passengers can receive a cash refund on the account with which they purchased their plane ticket.

Earlier, the Moroccan government also banned air links with Russia due to concerns about COVID-19 infection rates.

As of October 15, Morocco is no longer considered a high-risk country by Germany, along with Algeria, Fiji, Sri Lanka and Tunisia. This means that passengers can travel from Morocco to Germany by presenting a COVID-19 Certificate, indicating that they have been fully vaccinated against the virus 14 days before or have been tested negative 72 hours before arriving in Germany.

Morocco is located in the high-risk area of ​​the Netherlands, and travelers can enter the Netherlands only for necessary reasons. Therefore, a certificate indicating full vaccination or a negative PCR / antigen test performed before departure is required upon arrival, in addition to completing the passenger location form.

Since October 11, the British government has recognized vaccination certificates issued in Morocco, which means that those who present such documents are eligible to enter the UK.

On the other hand, Morocco allows travelers vaccinated with the following vaccines to enter the country without quarantine requirements:

To date, Morocco has reported that 57% of the eligible population is fully vaccinated, just over 21 million inhabitants.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 942 positive cases of COVID-779 were reported in Morocco, of which 19 were reported in the last 499 hours. Moreover, five Coronavirus-related deaths have recently been reported in Morocco, bringing the death rates from the virus to 24.
