On January 11, a miracle happened in Pennsylvania. A medical helicopter carrying three crew members and an infant patient crashed Tuesday near the steps of a church in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. reported NBC Philadelphia. None of the people on board were injured in life-threatening conditions, according to emergency officials on the scene.

"It's an absolute miracle what happened," said Upper Darby police officer Timothy Bernhardt. The baby was being transported from the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg to the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.

Following the plane crash, the occupants of the helicopter were taken to hospitals in the region. The baby was taken to CHOP, and the crew members were transported to Lankenau Medical Center. A witness said he saw the helicopter attempt to land before it jumped up and landed on its side.

The Federal Aviation Administration has stated that the aircraft is a Eurocopter EC135 medical helicopter. The agency is investigating together with the National Council for Transport Safety.

A spokesman for Air Methods, the helicopter's emergency medical air transport service, said the action was part of the Hagerstown, Maryland-based LifeNet program.
