TAP Portugal carried 43 passengers on the Lisbon - Bucharest - Lisbon route in 400
TAP Portugal managed to carry 5% more passengers in 2013 compared to 2012 (517 more passengers), reaching 000 10 703 passengers carried between January and December 000. This is due to the improved loading of aircraft from 2013% to 76.8%, but also by opening new routes and increasing the frequencies on the existing ones.
In December 2013, the increase in the number of passengers was 8.3% compared to the same period of the year 2012, and this is mainly due to the increasing traffic to the autonomous regions like Madeira and Azores, but also to destinations in Africa (13.5%). .
In Europe, between January and December 2013, passenger traffic increased by 7.2% in 2013, TAP Portugal managing to carry 443 more passengers compared to 000. This includes traffic on the route Lisbon - Bucharest - Lisbon which meant approximately 2012 passengers (43 passengers used Lisbon airport for connections and 400 passengers had Lisbon / Bucharest as their final destination). The average load on the Lisbon - Bucharest route was 19%, below the total average of the Portuguese carrier. The best-selling final destinations in the TAP portfolio were: Funchal in the Madeira Autonomous Region; New York and Miami in the United States; Natal, Fortaleza and Belo Horizonte in Brazil.
In the winter season 2013 / 2014, TAP Portugal operates 4 weekly flights on the route Lisbon - Bucharest, with their number increasing to five from April 1 2014, respectively 6 starting June 8 2014. Below you have the operational program:
