On July 17, all passengers on the 2246 Southwest flight received Nintendo Switch consoles and the Mario game. The action is part of a partnership between low-cost carrier Southwest and Japanese company Nintendo.

Kids and adults enjoyed the console and the Mario Maker 2 game for about 3 hours, while the flight from Dallas to San Diego lasted. The action also contributed to the announcement of Southwest's participation in Comic-Con in San Diego. It has a common stand with Nintendo, where there will be prizes.

Nintendo consoles and the game Mario on Southwest flights

Every day until August 13, passengers on a randomly selected Southwest flight will experience the same experience. They will receive Nintendo Switch consoles and the Mario Maker 2 game.

Such actions are beautiful, impactful and easily viralable. We would like to see such campaigns in Romania as well. Maybe that's how we make flights more beautiful and more fun.
