A Philippine Air Force (PAF) Hercules C-130 crashed in the Philippines
On Sunday morning, July 4, a Hercules C-130 transport aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) (registered 5125), carrying personnel from the Philippine Armed Forces, crashed on landing in Patikul, Sulu, Philippines. After the impact, the aircraft burst into flames.
The plane was carrying 85 passengers and 8 crew members. As a result of the accident, at least 43 people on board died and 49 people were injured. According to authorities, five people are missing. At the same time, it is believed that three civilians on the ground died as a result of the plane crash.
