An L-410 plane crashed in Russia: at least 16 dead!

On October 10, a Let L-410 Turbolet (registered RF-94591) crashed near the city of Menzelinsk in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The plane was carrying 21 paratroopers and 2 pilots, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergencies. Of these, at least 16 people were declared dead. Seven people were evacuated from the wreckage of the plane, showing signs of life.

The aircraft was carrying a group of paratroopers. According to the Interfax news agency, the plane belonged to the Voluntary Assistance Society for the Russian Army, Aviation and Navy, which describes itself as a sports and defense organization.
