Aeroitalia announces the base in Florence and announces the route Florence - Bucharest, from December 19, 2022!
Aeroitalia, the new airline in Italy, announced the Florence base and 4 new routes: London, Bucharest, Trapani and Catania. The flights will have a starting price of 24.99 euros/segment. Krassimir Tanev, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Aeroitalia, announced that other routes will be announced shortly, 12 to be exact.
Aerdoitalia routes to Romania
At the moment, aeroitalia owns three 737-800 NG aircraft and an order placed for another 3 737-800NG aircraft and 3 737 MAX 8 aircraft. As the operational network is formed, Aeroitalia has allocated one aircraft each to the bases in Florence, Bergamo and Forli.
Aeroitalia also enters the Romanian market, starting from December 2 to Bacău from Rome and Milan, and from December 19 to Bucharest. It is trying to take over some routes operated by the defunct Blue Air, which has ceased operations. Let's not forget that Mr. Krassimir Tanev was Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Air and probably knows how things are on some routes.
