According to the Polish press, the Antonov AN-225 aircraft will transport tons of medical equipment to Poland. The largest cargo plane in the world, the only one with 6 engines in the Antonov fleet, is expected on April 14 in Warsaw.
The Antonov An-225 Mriya mammoth aircraft will carry up to 7 million masks, several hundred thousand suits and robes, hundreds of thousands of gloves, visors and other protective equipment. They were purchased by Polish state-owned companies KGHM and Lotos, informs the PAP news agency.

KGHM CEO Marcin Chludziński said he had allocated $ 15 million to buy the medical equipment needed to fight coronavirus in Poland.
Meanwhile, over 50 tons of medical equipment, including 6 million masks and 70.000 suits, arrived in Warsaw on Tuesday. The transport was operated by Antonov An-124 aircraft.
