South Carolina's Boeing 787 aircraft made the first flight

At the end of April, Boeing introduced the first 787 Dreamliner assembled in South Carolina. Currently, about a month after the presentation, the aircraft successfully completed the first test flight. Piloted by Tim Berg and Neville Randy, the plane successfully made a five-hour flight.

About 5000 of Boeing South Carolina employees attended this test flight at Charleston International Airport.

Aronava will fly to Ft. Worth, Texas to be painted in Air India colors and return to Boeing South Carolina. In the middle of 2012, the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner manufactured in South Carolina will reach the Indian carrier fleet.
