Boeing 737-800 ex-Malev aircraft have found new destinations

On 3 February, Malev suspended his operations after 66 years of activity. As a result of this action, the leasing company ILFC took back six aircraft Boeing 737-600, seven Boeing 737-700 and three Boeing 737-800. They are parked at Shannon Irish Airport. A fourth Boeing 737-800 ex-Malev aircraft is owned by Macquarie AirFinance and is parked at the airport in Toulouse, France.

The three Boeing 737-800 will enjoy new destinations because they will join the fleets of the airline operators Travel Service Airlines, Czech operator, Yakutia Airlines and S7 Airlines, Russian airline operators. Transaero has announced its intention to take over the seven Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

Unfortunately the six aircraft Boeing 737-600 they were left without destinations. These will be disassembled by ILFC subsidiary AeroTurbine in Phoenix.
