In the context of relaxation restrictions and the gradual reopening of borders, the airline Air France, the longest-lived operator on the Bucharest-Paris route, announces the consolidation of flight programs and the gradual increase of flight frequencies. Thus, for this summer Air France confirms no less than 80 seasonal routes, of which 22 are even new destinations, given that the preferences of tourists are constantly changing and city break destinations, for example, have been replaced in mostly with beach vacations.
Up to 17 weekly flights Bucharest - Paris this summer
Air France currently flies 8 times a week between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Bucharest Henri Coanda Airport, and the frequency of flights will increase successively to 15 and 17 flights a week between July 5 and August 8, 2021.
„The Bucharest-Paris air route is one of the oldest and longest-lived flight options for Romanians. We operated during the communist period, in economically unstable periods and we also operated during the pandemic. But the time has come to increase the number of flights and to overcome the "emergency" operations. The French business community, frequent travelers on this route, but also Romanians working and studying in France, will have an increased number of flight options this summer " said Razvan Răduț, Country Sales Manager Air France KLM Romania and Bulgaria.
New Air France routes
From Charles de Gaulle will fly from this summer to Tangier and Agadir (Morocco), Monastir (Tunisia), Valletta (Malt), Las Palmas (Canary Islands, Spain), Corfu and Rhodes (Greece) from July 5, and from Orly Airport to Bari (Italy) of 31 May, towards Ibiza (Spain) and Algiers, also called the white-blue city of Algeria since June 28.
New routes have also been announced from other airports in France, such as Marseille, from where it will fly to Catania (Italy) from 26 June and towards Corfu (Greece) of 19 July. Flights to Nice will be operated from London and Tunisia from June 28. A total of 39 new routes are scheduled on the flight schedule of Air France's medium-courier division, with long-haul flights to be announced soon.
The seasonal routes are in addition to those already operated by Air France, a company that has resumed over 80% of its normal network flights since June last year.
