The Latvian airline airBaltic announces that, starting with September 1, 2021, it intends to launch new scheduled flights between Riga and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. airBaltic has scheduled the connection of both cities with four weekly flights. The flights will be operated with Airbus A220-300 aircraft, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Martin Gauss, executive director at airBaltic: "For years, Dubai has been one of the most significant unserved destinations in Riga. Now, with Expo 2020 starting in October, we will offer a direct connection from Riga, which will be appreciated by many passengers from the Baltic region and Scandinavia. In addition, the new route will provide excellent connectivity through Dubai International (DXB) to the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Africa.. "
