We split a few days until the new 2013, and the airline operators started to draw the line and make the summary of the year ending. Air France had a busy year, with pluses and minuses, with new routes launched, but also with massive layoffs.

In 2012, Air France received the 60-Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, Air France has celebrated 60 for years on the Paris-Mexico route, Air France introduced Airbus A380 to Los Angeles, Air France has celebrated 65 for years on the Paris - Pointe-à-Pitre route, Air France celebrated 3 millions of passengers carrying Airbus A380 and announced that will make 5.122 available to employees over the next 2 years.

Also in 2012, Air France will launch the largest boarding lounge, at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and opened routes to Wuhan and Abuja.

It was a full year, a year of promises and transformations. But let's not forget that Air France - KLM does not enjoy a very good financial situation. Maybe 2013 will be an even better year!
