1. On May 19, 2021, more measures will be relaxed, while maintaining a clear concept of safety. In addition to gastronomy and the hotel industry, art, culture and spa, spa, wellness or entertainment centers can also be opened.
2. The basic conditions for entry into Austria will be proof of vaccination, testing or passing / recovery after illness. Controlled self-tests will also be used.
3. As of 19 May 2021, the current quarantine provisions on arrival in Austria will be deleted. Persons who have been tested, vaccinated or recovered will be allowed to enter Austria without quarantine. This will again allow access for foreign tourists.
4. Depending on the progress of the vaccination campaign, on July 1, 2021 additional relaxation measures will follow. Nothing stands in the way of a safe and good summer season.
