Bees Airline, Ukraine's new airline, has been approved to fly on more than 30 routes

Bees Airline is a new Ukrainian airline. Recently, the Ukrainian startup has received approval to launch a series of routes in the country's capital, Kiev. Bees Airline, which received an airline certificate earlier this month, has been approved by the Ukrainian State Aviation Administration to provide 15 scheduled services as well as 16 charter routes.

Twelve of the scheduled routes will be operated from the main base in Kiev Zhuliany (IEV), with flights to Batumi and Tbilisi from Georgia; Araxos, Heraklion and Rhodes in Greece; Burgas and Varna in Bulgaria; Alicante and Barcelona in Spania; Tirana in Albania; Larnaca in Cipru; Yerevan in Armenia.

In addition, Bees Airline has been authorized to serve two routes with frequent flights from Odessa (ODS) to Tbilisi and Yerevan, as well as between Lviv (LWO) and Rhodes.

The airline's charter network will include flights to resorts in Croatia, Egypt, Montenegro and Turkey, as well as to Mombasa (MBA) in Kenya. Bees made its first charter flight from Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) to Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH) on March 18, 2021.

Bees Airline currently has two 737-seat Boeing 800-189s, but plans to expand its fleet and operations in the coming months. Bees CEO Evgeny Khainatsky said the Bees Airline fleet will have 4 Boeing 737s by the end of this year.
