Boeing 787 KLM in Madurodam
First of all, let me tell you a little about Madurodam. This is a miniature city located in Scheveningen, The Hague, The Netherlands. It was open to the public on 2 July 1952. Hundreds of thousands of tourists pass the threshold this year.
The miniature town was named after George Maduro, a law student from Curaçao, who fought against Nazi occupation forces and died in the Dachau concentration camp in 1945.
Within this city, there is also a miniature airport, which was built after the famous Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
