Wizz Air, Europe's fastest growing and most environmentally sustainable airline globally, today announces an exciting new holiday destination in Turkey, from Bucharest to Izmir. Tickets are now available on wizzair.com and via the airline's mobile app, from 56 EUR.
Starting from June this year, travelers can enjoy direct flights to Izmir (Adnan Menderes International Airport) three times a week, every Monday, Friday and Sunday.
Romanian travelers can now explore Izmir, the third largest city in Turkey, but also the largest on the Aegean Sea. With a history spanning thousands of years, the metropolis' famous sights waiting to be discovered include the Agora Open Air Museum, the Izmir Port Clock Tower, the Kemeraltı Bazaar and its hilltop surroundings that are home to Kadifekale, one among the castles of the city.
Tourists can also take full advantage of Izmir's sunny beaches as well as its fascinating natural attractions such as Izmir Bay, Gediz Delta or Çiğli Bird Paradise. The annual Izmir International Festival, along with many other cultural, music and gastronomy fairs, awaits the travel enthusiasts.
