Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee and TAROM - partners for the performance of Olympic athletes

TAROM becomes official carrier of the Romanian Olympic Lottery at the London Olympics in 2012. The TAROM business class will be named Olympic class, and passengers will benefit from special rates and other benefits.

TAROM and the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (COSR) signed a new partnership in perspective 2012 Olympic Games, which will take place in London, from July 27 to August 12.

Following this commitment, the Romanian air operator will become Official Carrier of the components of the Romanian Olympic Lot, which will travel this year to the London Olympics. TAROM will provide transportation to London for both Olympic athletes and Romanian officials and the team's technical staff.

As an additional recognition of the performances of Romanian athletes, between April 15 and August 31, 2012, The Business Class of the company TAROM will be called Olympic Class, on all TAROM flights. Thus, all passengers of the Olympic Class will benefit from special rates, with discounts between 5% and 30% compared to standard ones, under conditions of total flexibility. Also, all the passengers of the Olympic Class will automatically enter a lottery which will take place at the beginning of September, the prize consisting of 2 free flights on one of the routes of TAROM.

At the same time, every passenger of the Olympic Class who travels on any external route will receive from TAROM a symbolic Olympic medal, thus becoming together with TAROM official supporter of the Romanian Olympic team and sharing TAROM support and involvement for the Olympic performance. Also, TAROM offers passengers of the Olympic Class special menus, improved, in a greater variety than before, maintaining the same flavor and freshness with which the company has accustomed its customers.
