Starting with March 29, 2015, together with the summer 2015 program, Blue Air returns to Mihail Kogălniceanu - Constanţa International Airport with scheduled flights. The low cost airline will launch direct flights from Constanta to Milan (Bergamo).

At this time, the route is uploaded to the airline's website, but no reservations can be made. According to the press release, the route will be operated with 2-3 weekly flights.

"Currently, we do not have direct flights with Blue Air. They will be inaugurated on March 29 next year, with the destination Milan. How many frequencies, I cannot confirm. Possibly one or two per week. The number of frequencies and schedule will be displayed later on the website", spokeswoman Elena Vîţă told us. (source: www.replicaonline.ro)

“The partnership between Blue Air and Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport has always been very good over the years, both in terms of charter flights and in terms of regular flights. This regular flight between Constanta and Milan (Bergamo) comes as a complement to the existing partnership and we hope that in the future we will operate from Constanta to as many European cities as possible. Moreover, Blue Air currently offers a land transfer service between Constanța and Bucharest which can be purchased together with the plane ticket and in this way the people of Constanta can have access to all the destinations we operate from the capital. Blue Air's development policy is and will always be to respond exactly to the travel needs of its passengers, but also to create the development bridge between the regions in Romania and the main European cities. As in Bacău, where Blue Air was the first company to open direct flights between Moldova and Europe, today is the time of Mihail Kogălniceanu-Constanța International Airport. We are sure that this new flight between Milan and Constanța will increase the number of tourists on the coast, will facilitate the development of business relations and will increase the notoriety of the region. It is a beginning of the road and the success of this new destination does not depend only on Blue Air. It is a team work between us, the airline, the airport, local authorities, as well as the business and tourism promotion environment. This is the successful formula applied in Europe for the development of traffic at regional airports "- the general manager of Blue Air, Gheorghe Răcaru. (Source: newsair.ro)
