Coronavirus: Etihad Airways has suspended all flights since March 25, 2020

The United Arab Emirates government has made the decision to block all passenger flights from / to the UAE, an extreme measure taken to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.


Following these decisions, all airlines in the United Arab Emirates will temporarily suspend all flights. FlyDubai will suspend flights on March 26. Emirates will suspend most flights from March 25th.

Etihad Airways suspends all flights

And Etihad Airways will suspend all flights starting March 25, 2020. Normally, the flight suspension will be temporary for 14 days, until April 8. In fact, it is not known until then.

The decision to suspend flights does not apply to freight and to humanitarian / repatriation flights.

With the flight being suspended, the entire Etihad Airways fleet will be detained on the ground. Etihad has 102 aircraft, of which 6 x Boeing 777F are dedicated to freight.
