European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) reports an index calculated for 14 days each week. For example, today, December 15th 2021, the list with the epidemiological index reported for the period November 29 - December 12, 2021 was published.

In this context, if the Romanian authorities update the traffic light list (today or tomorrow), we will have some very important changes. The Maldives, Italy, Spain and Sweden will be on Romania's red list. Armenia and Albania will be on the green list. In the red zone remain: Turkey, Serbia, Great Britain, United States of America, Greece, Bulgaria!

ECDC report published on Thursday, December 15, for the period November 29 - December 12, 2021. CAREFUL!!! These are not the official lists established by the Romanian authorities, but the index updated by ECDC. We are waiting with interest for CNSU to officially update the lists according to the new established criteria. There will definitely be exceptions!

If Italy, Spain and Sweden enter the red list of Romania, all travelers will have to comply the new rules for entering Romania associated with the EU red zone. This means that those vaccinated / vaccinated will avoid quarantine if they present an EU COVID-19 digital certificate obtained on the basis of the vaccine / infection. Unvaccinated people will be quarantined, but the period can be shortened from 14 to 10 days if the negative result of a PCR test is presented, not older than 48 hours at boarding or entering Romania.
