EGYPTAIR placed an order for 10 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, an event that took place within the Dubai Airshow 2023.
Once added to the fleet, the new A350-900 aircraft will be more fuel efficient, while passengers will enjoy the comfort of the Airbus AirSpace cabin.
The signing took place at Dubai Airshow 2023 in the presence of EGYPTAIR President and CEO, Engineer Yehia Zakaria and Airbus Commercial Director Christian Scherer.
It is the only aircraft that allows EGYPTAIR to open its network with benchmark economic efficiency, not to mention passenger comfort, airline officials said.
The A350 is the world's most modern and efficient widebody aircraft and the long-range leader in the 300-410 seat category. It flies efficiently on any sector, from short-haul routes to ultra-long routes up to 18000 kilometers.
The aircraft includes state-of-the-art technologies, aerodynamics, lightweight materials and state-of-the-art engines that together offer more compliance, but at the same time all with up to 25% reduced fuel consumption, which translates into lower operating costs.
Airbus A350 aircraft have entered the fleet of dozens of airlines around the world, with Boeing reporting orders for over 1000 aircraft from this family.
