These days Emirates has celebrated 15 years of flights on the Dubai - Auckland route. Since August 2003 and up to now, Emirates has carried over 2.5 millions of passengers between Dubai and Auckland. Emirates operates 21 weekly flights on the Dubai - Auckland route, direct or through Bali, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
Initially, Emirates began flying to Auckland via Sydney, Melbourne and, later, Brisbane. Starting with 2009, Emirates introduced the revolutionary Airbus A380 aircraft on the Dubai - Sydney - Auckland route and back.
