Blue Air (the largest Romanian airline) and Lidl Tour (the online holiday shop) offer Romanian tourists direct flights from Bucharest to Marrakech. The route will be inaugurated on 3 November 2018.
Tickets are already on sale on the Blue Air website, and from the Lidl Tour website (www.lidl-tour.ro), those interested in a holiday in Morocco can purchase various tourist packages with direct flight. The Bucharest - Marrakech flights start on November 3 and will run, every Saturday, until January 5, 2019.
For Romanians, Marrakech was a desired exotic destination, but the lack of direct flight options discouraged many tourists to discover the "tourist capital" and the former imperial capital of Morocco.
