Qatar Airways has announced 16 new destinations for 2018 / 2019 (video)
Nowadays, one of the biggest tourism fairs in the world is in full swing in Berlin - ITB Berlin 2018. At the fair, Qatar Airways held an impressive press conference, announcing the expansion plan on 2018 / 2019.
On 7 March 2018, in the presence of over 200 by representatives of the profile press, Qatar Airways officials presented the aggressive development plan for 2018-2019.
16 new destinations for 2018 / 2019
Qatar Airways will be the first carrier in the Gulf to fly to Luxembourg. Other interesting destinations: London Gatwick, United Kingdom; Cardiff, United Kingdom; Lisbon, Portugal; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; From Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum, Antalya and Hatay, Turkey; Mykonos and Thessaloniki, Greece and Malaga, Spain.
In addition, services to Warsaw, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Prague and Kiev will increase to 2 daily flights, while services to Madrid, Barcelona and Maldives will increase to three daily flights.
Qatar Airways officials also discussed sports sponsorships. The Qatar carrier is an official sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and FIFA Club World Cup.
Qatar Airways owns a fleet of over 210 modern aircraft, including 40 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, 30 Boeing 787-8 aircraft, 9 Airbus A380 aircraft and the first Airbus A350-1000.
