KLM will enter the 2020 summer season with 10% of normally scheduled flights

Due to the pandemic with the new coronavirus, KLM will start the summer program with a significantly reduced network. KLM starts the summer program with 57 destinations.

From March 29 to May 3, KLM intends to fly to 25 intercontinental destinations and 32 European destinations. During this period, KLM will fly according to an adjusted program, which will represent 10% of normal activity.

Intercontinental flights will be operated with Boeing 777 and 787. Boeing 747-400 KLM aircraft will be withdrawn in April. The last jumb-jet aircraft will be parked in Schiphol.

Bangkok - 2 weekly flights
Curacao - 2 weekly flights

Sao Paulo - 2 weekly flights
Hong Kong - 3 weekly flights
Incheon (Seoul) - 3 flights a week
New York JFK - 7 weekly flights
Johannesburg - 3 weekly flights
Kansai (Osaka) - 2 weekly flights
Los Angeles - 3 weekly flights
Lima * - 3 weekly flights
Mexico City - 3 weekly flights
Nairobi * - 2 weekly flights
Narita (Tokyo) - 2 weekly flights
Chicago O'Hare - 2 weekly flights
Beijing * - 3 weekly flights
Panama City - 2 weekly flights
Shanghai - 3 weekly flights
Singapore - 3 weekly flights
Taipei * - 3 weekly flights
Calgary - 3 weekly flights
Toronto - 3 weekly flights

Destinations marked with "*" are subject to travel restrictions and KLM will initially only fly by freight.

List of European flights operated by KLM (March 28 - May 3)

The European network has been set up so that European flights are connected to intercontinental flights. The following destinations will be operated daily from Amsterdam - Schiphol from 28 March to 3 May (subject to change):

Geneva, Vienna, Zurich, Brussels, Paris, Lyon, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Rome (starting April 4) **, Stockholm, Billund, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, Barcelona **, Lisbon, Madrid **, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London City, London Heathrow, Manchester, Newcastle.

Destinations marked with "**" are currently subject to travel restrictions and will be operated at a later date.

Due to traffic restrictions imposed by the spread of COVID-19 in Europe, starting March 28, 2020 and until May 3, 2020, KLM airline will no longer operate flights on the route Amsterdam - Bucharest. 

The other destinations will be honored with KLM flights when the travel restrictions are lifted.
