Malta has placed the Czech Republic and Tunisia on the list of countries with a high epidemiological risk.
From 18 August 2020, all those traveling from the Czech Republic and Tunisia will be required to take a negative COVID-19 test. This must be done no later than 72 hours before their flight to Malta.
Malta has placed the Czech Republic and Tunisia on the list of countries with a high epidemiological risk, along with Romania, Bulgaria and 3 areas in Spain (Barcelona, Girona and Madrid).
As of August 21, Malta has started requesting a negative COVID-19 test for all those arriving from high-risk areas, including those traveling from Romania. But we mention that Romania also introduced Malta on the yellow list, which led to the suspension of direct flights. All those who will travel from Malta to Romania, will have to enter self-isolation at home for 14 days.
