New travel conditions in Belgium: to complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) and, in some cases, 7-day isolation.

Travel from Belgium to Romania is not prohibited, but the Belgian authorities strongly discourage travel to red zones in EU + Member States. As of 26 August 2020, the Belgian authorities have included the entire territory of Romania in the red zone.

All persons entering the Kingdom of Belgium are required to complete, no later than 48 hours before arrival, regardless of the mode of transport, status, country of origin, an online form, Passenger Locator Form (PLF)

Persons who have not stayed more than 48 hours outside the Kingdom of Belgium and those who wish to spend less than 48 hours in that State are exempted from completing the form.

Upon arrival in Belgium, depending on the answers to the self-assessment questionnaire, attached to the form Passenger Locator Shape, travelers can receive an SMS message informing them about amandatory self-isolation (for a period of 7 days) and testing (on the 7th day).

Passengers are asked to follow the Belgian authorities' instructions regarding self-isolation received by e-mail / sms, following the completion of the form. Passenger Locator Shape.

With regard to people who have spent more than 48 hours abroad and will remain in Belgium for more than 48 hours, the Belgian authorities warn that the police will carry out additional checks to verify the completion of the passenger location form and , compliance with the quarantine measure.
