The list enters into force on 25.12.2020 at 00:00. The inclusion of South Africa in the list was due to the evidence on the territory of this country of strains of SARS CoV-2 virus that have multiple mutations. Flights between Romania and South Africa will be suspended, even if they do not exist :). It should be mentioned that the flights will NOT be suspended from / to the European countries on the yellow list.

Those coming from yellow countries must be quarantined / isolated for 14 days. You can get out of quarantine on the 10th day, only if you take a test after 8 days and it comes out negative. Those who come to Romania for a maximum of 72 hours (3 days) and have a negative COVID-19 test are exempt from isolation / quarantine.

Also, if you have been ill with COVID for the past 90 days, it will not be quarantined regardless of whether you come from a yellow list country.
