A new airline has appeared on the horizon in Canada. OWG was founded on July 6 and announced that it is ready to take flight.
The announcement comes after the new airline received approval from the transport minister to provide flight services on international routes. OWG is a subsidiary of Nolinor Aviation and was founded to cover the charter market in southern Canada and across the border.
OWG is a new Canadian airline
Nolinor Aviation is a Canadian charter operator that provides services to the far north of Canada. It has a fleet of 10 x Boeing 737-200 and 737-300. Using gravel kits on 737 aircraft, they can land on unpaved runways in the northern regions of Canada.
OWG intends to use a fleet of 3 737-400 aircraft. They are equipped in a single class with 158 seats. OWG plans to operate the first flight on August 1, 2020. The new routes have not yet been announced.
"Traditional airlines have chosen to reduce the quality of their services every year, without taking into account the experience of passengers," explains the president of the carrier Marco Prud'homme. "Our goal is to win the hearts of Quebecers with a new airline whose mission is to delight travelers again."
