Traffic restrictions in Bucharest on December 1, 2022 – Romania's National Day!

Bucharest City Hall informs that on December 01, 2022, on the occasion of Romania's National Day, a series of events will take place that involve traffic restrictions.

Military parade on December 1, 2022 and the exhibition of military equipment – ​​01.12.2022:
- starting at 07.00, at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier (Carol I Park), military and religious ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers;
- starting at 11.00, in Arcul de Triumf Square, National Military Parade;
- starting at 12.00, military equipment exhibition in Arc de Triumf Square;
- between 19.00:22.00 p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., the solemnity of the retreat with torches in the City of Bucharest.

For the good organization and performance of the preceding activities and those organized on November 27, 2022 and December 01, 2022, the following measures will be taken:

Starting from 25 November 2022, 08.00 until 01.12.2022, 17.00:
― the closing of the alveolus, next to the STB station, from Arcul de Triumf Square, on the direction of travel from C-tin Prezan Blvd to Presei Libere Square, for the location of the public address system;

În the periods 26.11.2022 14.00 – 27.11.2022 17.00 and 30.11.2022 14.00 – 01.12.2022 17.00:
― the restriction of voluntary parking/parking in the widening of the road. Kiseleff (rond Kiseleff) next to the Infantry Monument;
― restricting car parking on Docentilor str.;
― the restriction of voluntary parking/parking on Aleea Pescăruș (between the Pescăruș Entrance and the Pescăruș Restaurant);
― the release of the parking lots in the general training area and the National Military Parade, including those in King Mihai I Park related to H Brewery and BOA Club;

Îon 27.11.2022 between 04.00 and 18.00:
― blocking car traffic on the road. Kiseleff and the adjacent streets between Piața Victoriei, Piaţa Arcului de Triumf and Piaţa Presei Libere, with the specification that in the passage of the Piaţa Libere, traffic will only be allowed towards Piața Montreal;
― blocking traffic on Bdul Mareșal Prezan, between Charles de Gaulle Square and Arcului de Triumf Square, as well as on adjacent streets;
― blocking traffic on Alexandru Constantinescu Street, between Mărăști Blvd and Arcului de Triumf Square;
― blocking traffic on Bdul Mareșal Alexandru Averescu, between Bdul Mărăști and Piața Arcului de Triumf, as well as on adjacent streets;
― blocking traffic on Str. Arch. Ion Mincu, Str. Barbu Delavrancea, Str. Nicolae Ionescu, Str. Ady Endre, Str. Sgt. Vasile Dorobanțu, Str. Docentilor, Str. Mahatma Gandhi and on Str. Petofi Sandor;
― blocking traffic on Str. Clucerului, between Arch. Ion Mincu and B-dul Mareșal Alexandru Averescu, and of the adjacent streets towards B-dul Ion Mihalache;
― blocking traffic on Str. Gheorghe Brătianu, between Arch. Ion Mincu and Str. Docentilor, and the adjacent streets towards Bdul Aviatorilor;
― blocking traffic on Str. Uruguay, between Bdul Aviatorilor and Sos. Kiseleff, and of the adjacent streets towards the two boulevards;
― blocking traffic on Str. the Mint and on Primo Nebiolo Alley;
― release of the parking lot arranged in the Kiseleff roundabout;
― the use of the "Arc de Triumf" Stadium as an emergency landing place for helicopters participating in the flyover on 27.11.2022 - time interval: 09:00-16:00, with the consent of the Ministry of Sports;

During 30.11.2022, starting at 09.00 until 01.12.2022, at 19.00:
― blocking road traffic on lanes 1, 2 and 3 in Arcul de Triumf Square in the direction of Piața Presei-Piata Victoriei from Aleea Primo Nebiolo to Arcul de Triumf and on Str. Alexandru Constantinescu, on both directions, from the Arc de Triomphe to B-dul Mărăști, for the location/dismantling of the official stand;

On 01.12.2022, between 04.00 and 18.00:

― blocking car traffic on the road. Kiseleff and the adjacent streets between Piața Victoriei, Piaţa Arcului de Triumf and Piaţa Presei Libere, with the specification that in the passage of the Piaţa Libere, traffic will only be allowed towards Piața Montreal;
― blocking traffic on Bdul Mareșal Prezan, between Charles de Gaulle Square and Arcului de Triumf Square, as well as on adjacent streets;

― blocking traffic on Str. Uruguay, between Bdul Aviatorilor and Sos. Kiseleff, and of the adjacent streets towards the two boulevards;
― blocking traffic on Str. the Mint and on Primo Nebiolo Alley;
― release of the parking lot arranged in the Kiseleff roundabout;
― the use of the "Arcul de Triumf" Stadium as an emergency landing place for helicopters participating in the flyover in the time interval: 11:00-13:00, with the consent of the Ministry of Sports.

On 01.12.2022, between 07.00 and 13.00:
*prohibition of pedestrian access, as follows:
- on the road. Kiseleff, between Primo Nebiolo St. and Piata Arcului de Triumf, except for guests;
– on Alexandru Constantinescu str., between Mărăști Blvd and Arcului de Triumf Square;
- on Bdul Mareșal Constantin Prezan, between Charles de Gaulle Square and Arcului de Triumf Square, on the sidewalk on the right side in the direction of walking towards Arcului de Triumf Square, with the exception of media representatives;
– in the King Mihai I park between Michael Jackson Alley (the portion between Arcului de Triumf Square and the area of ​​the access alley to the Village Museum)–Grădina Japoneză Alley – Aventura Parc Alley and Constantin Prezan Blvd;

*restriction of pedestrian access, as follows:
- on the road. Kiseleff, between Piata Arcului de Triumf and Str. Uruguay;
– on Bdul Mareșal Alexandru Averescu, between Bdul Mărăști and Piata Arcului de Triumf;
– on B-dul Mareșal Constantin Prezan, (on the sidewalk on the left side starting from Charles de Gaulle Square) from Str. Mr. Gheorghe Şonțu to Arcului de Triumf Square.

The following itineraries for the movement of personnel and military equipment, from the Ministry of National Defense, will be used for the conduct of the assembled training, the rehearsal and the military ceremony, as follows:

1. Arrival/Departure of military columns in/from the Ghencea Training Ground:
– Itinerary no. 1: Road. Olteniței - Sos. Viilor - Str. Tudor Vladimirescu – Calea 13 Septembrie – Shos. Anti-aircraft – Ghencea Training Ground and return;
– Itinerary no. 2: Chitila – DNCB – Otopeni – DN1 – București Ploiesti Road – Piața Presei Libere – B-dul. Kiseleff – Victoriei Square – Nicolae Titulescu Road – Banu Manta Blvd – Basarab Passage – Răzoare – Salt Road – Road. Anti-aircraft –– Ghencea training ground and return;
– Itinerary no. 3: Pantelimon – DNCB – Otopeni – DN1 – Bucharest Ploiesti Street – Piața Presei Libere – B-dul. Kiseleff – Victoriei Square – Nicolae Titulescu Road – Banu Manta Blvd – Basarab Passage – Răzoare – Salt Road – Road. Anti-aircraft –– Ghencea training ground and return;

– Itinerary no. 7: IMM – B-dul Dinicu Golescu – Strada Berzei – Strada Buzești – – Piața Victoriei – Sos. Kiseleff (contrasense) – Piata Arcului de Triumf – Sos. Kiseleff (direction Bucharest – Ploiesti) and return.
– Itinerary no. 8: Chitila – DNCB – Otopeni – Bucuresti-Ploiesti Highway – Free Press Square – Pavilion H / Club BOA parking lot and return;
– Itinerary no. 9: Pantelimon – DNCB – Otopeni – Bucuresti-Ploiesti Road – Piața Presei Libere – Parking Pavilion H / Club BOA and return.

The solemnity of the retreat with torches, as follows:
On the day of 01.12.2022, between 19.00 and 22.00, the solemnity of the retreat with torches will be performed on the itinerary: Traffic lane I on the Palatul Cercului Militar National route (the disembarkation of the detachment on Calea Victoriei and the formation of the column on Str. Constantin Mille), Calea Victoriei, B-dul Regina Elisabeta, B-dul Mihail Kogălniceanu, Splaiul Independence, B-dul Eroilor Sanitarii, Str. Professor Doctor Gheorghe Marinescu, Cotroceni Road, Iuliu Maniu Blvd, General Paul Teodorescu Blvd, Timișoara Blvd, headquarters of the 30th Guards Brigade.

For the smooth running of the activity, road traffic will be restricted, as follows:

- between 18.00 and 19.30, the restriction of road traffic on Str. Constantin Mille;
- between 18.50 and 19.45, for 10 minutes, road traffic will be restricted on Calea Victoriei, lanes 1 and 2, in front of the Palace of the National Military Circle (between Str. Constantin Mille and B-dul Regina Elisabeta);
- the movement of the detachments, on the first traffic lane on the following itinerary: Calea Victoriei and the formation of the column on Str. Constantin Mille), Calea Victoriei, B-dul Regina Elisabeta, B-dul Mihail Kogălniceanu, Splaiul Independêsi, B-dul Eroilor Sanitarii, Str. Professor Doctor Gheorghe Marinescu, Cotroceni Road, Iuliu Maniu Blvd, General Paul Teodorescu Blvd, Timișoara Blvd, headquarters of the 30th Guard Brigade;

Also, the Intercommunity Development Association for Public Transport Bucharest - Ilfov (TPBI) ordered, during the period of traffic restrictions, the modification of seven public transport lines
