San Francisco - Paris in just 2 minutes (video)

Nate Bolt managed to catch the flight San Francisco - Paris CDG in a beautiful 2459 photo shoot. He took a picture every two miles between the time of take-off in San Francisco and the time of landing in Paris CDG. The flight was operated by Air France.

It used a Canon 5D2 camera, a Canon EF 16-35mm lens, a time-lapse controller and an iPhone. I don't think it's very pleasant to hear a trigger every 30 seconds during the 11 flight hours, but Bolt had all the support of cabin crew and passengers.

The San Francisco - Paris CDG route has its trajectory over Greenland and the Arctic Circle, where you can see the northern lights from anywhere on the plane. The video was made in the spring of 2011.
