The unions representing the pilots and the crew of the Brussels Airlines cabin have issued a strike announcement for next week. The strike is scheduled for June 23, 24 and 25, according to union representitives.

85% of cabin crew members are in favor of a strike. The management of Brussels Airlines has proposed a one-time bonus of 450 euros, but the unions have rejected the offer, as their main goal is to have more rest between the average flights in the airline's network.

"The cabin crew never asked for money to solve their problems, but asked for structural measures to ensure the future of the company and its employees.Said a union member.

Brussels Airlines has learned of a possible strike next week. Currently, 525 flights are scheduled for June 23, 24 and 25. We do not yet know how many of these will be canceled, as this depends on the rate of participation of the crews in the strike.

"Our first priority right now is our passengers. We sincerely regret the impact these actions have on our customers. We do not yet know how many flights will be affected by social action and how many will be operated as planned. We do our best to review our flight schedule as soon as we have a clear picture of the participation rate of our crews in the strike action.

We will inform all passengers traveling on 23, 24 and 25 June about the status of their flight and, if necessary, about alternative travel options. We ask our passengers to be patient and not call customer relations at this time, as they cannot provide any further information. Passengers can check on our website if contact details are included in their booking and add them if you haven't already. Passengers who have booked through a tour operator or travel agency (online) should contact that agency.Brussels Airlines said.
