Skytrax Awards 2022: Qatar Airways has been voted the best airline in the world for the seventh time!

Qatar Airways was voted the best airline in the world for a record seventh time at the World Airline Awards 2022. Qatar Airways received the title of "Airline of the Year 2022".

After two years of virtual award ceremonies, the World Airline Awards 2022 event has returned to normal proceedings. Airline representatives from around the world were able to attend the 2022 awards ceremony, which took place at The Langham Hotel from London, UK.

Regarded as the 'Oscars of the airline industry', the World Airline Awards began in 1999 and remain completely independent and impartial with all customer survey costs and the awards event paid for by organizers Skytrax.

The top was completed by Singapore Airlines in second place, Emirates in third place, ANA All Nippon Airways in fourth place and Qantas Airways on the fifth position, out of over 350 airlines included in the survey.
