On the 10th and 11th, on the occasion of the Open Days at Brașov Airport, the special line 28E will be opened on the Brașov - Brașov Airport connection.
In order to support the citizens of Brașov who want to visit the new airport and take part in the opening event, the municipality, with the support of the Metropolitan Association for the Sustainable Development of Public Transport Brașov and the RATBV, will establish an express line 28E, which will run in the two days and which will leave from Livada Poștei starting at 11.00.
The frequency will be every 10 minutes, and will be provided with high-capacity, articulated buses. At the same time, in order to ensure the transport of the residents of Brasov to the neighborhoods at the end of the visit, the schedule on 11 transport lines will be extended, this weekend, also after 00:00.
On the mentioned days (June 10 and 11, 2023) buses on lines 28 and 29 will run on the routes and according to the regular timetables of some weekend days.
During the two days, buses on line 28 E will depart from Livada Poștei, platform 5, and will stop at the following stations:
Going: Livada Poștei - Bartolomeu Station - Municipal Stadium (boarding area for student transport) - Car Fair - Airport (head of the line);
Returned: Airport (Head of Line) – Car Fair – Municipal Stadium (regular platform of line 28) – Bartolomeu Church – Livada Poștei (head of line).
Also, in order to ensure the transport of Brasov residents to the city's neighborhoods, from the end of the two-day event schedule, the traffic schedule for 11 routes will be extended.
According to the transport operator RATBV, in order to pick up passengers coming from the airport, using the line 28 E, the program will be extended on the following lines:
