On 12 March 2015, Boeing issued a statement announcing that Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is still interested in 3 aircraft Boeing 777-300ER. The order is valued at 990 million dollars, list price, and will be passed on firm orders only after the purchase contract is signed.

SWISS is part of the Lufthansa group and flies to 69 from destinations in 37 countries. Flights depart from international airports in Zurich, Basel and Geneva. SWISS has a mixed fleet of 90 single-aisle and wide-body aircraft.
