Helmut Jahn designed the Messeturm in a postmodern architectural style. It is considered one of the design classics among European skyscrapers. Despite its name, Messeturm is not used for trade fair exhibitions, but as an office building. It is one of the few buildings in Germany with its own postal code (60308), the others being Opernturm, another skyscraper in Frankfurt and the top station on the Zugspitze.

"Ciobul" has a height of 309.6 m and has 72 floors, being the tallest building in Europe. The Shard is a skyscraper with luxury offices and apartments, a hotel and a restaurant. The building can be seen almost everywhere in London. It is located next to London Bridge, another emblem of the city of London. Only buildings were included in the top. Otherwise, the tallest structure in Europe would be La Tour Eiffel. The tower is 324 meters high and weighs over 10.000 tons. When it was built, the tower was the tallest building in the world. Tower maintenance includes the use of 50 tons of dark brown paint every 7 years. Depending on the air temperature, the Eiffel Tower changes its height by a few centimeters due to the contraction and expansion of the metal alloy.

Buildings in Russia were not included in this top (Lakhta Center, Federation Tower, OKO Residential Tower) and Turkey (Skyland Residential and Office Towers) because we will prepare separate articles.
