The digital entry form in Romania can be completed within a maximum of 24 hours from the arrival in the country. The fine for non-completion can be up to 3000 lei.

The digital entry form in Romania, the so-called PLF, can be completed online starting Sunday, December 19. CAREFUL! It can be completed up to 24 hours before coming to the country or within 24 hours of arrival in the country, by any person, regardless of the means of transport he is traveling with. 

In other words, you can complete it before the trip or after you arrive in Romania. The document became mandatory on Monday, December 20, and people have up to 24 hours to complete the form after arriving in the country, in case they have not done so before.

Those who do not digitally fill in the passenger location form within 24 hours of arrival in the country risk fines of 2.000 to 3.000 lei. 

The form contains mandatory fields regarding the identity of the person, the means of transport with which they enter the country, the travel history of the last 14 days, the destination address and, if applicable, the data of the minors accompanying them.

The digital form is interconnected with the computer system of the Border Police, with the Corona Forms application, which manages the infected people, but also with the data from the population records.

Basically, before arriving in the country, a few hours or even a few minutes, you access the application plf.gov.ro and a email address, which the user receives access link. It is a process similar to the application that generates the digital green certificate.

Once all required fields have been filled in, the document is saved. Please note that once saved, it cannot be edited. If you want to update your data, you will need to fill out a new form.

According to data provided by the Special Telecommunications Service, since the launch of the application https://plf.gov.ro and until Monday morning at 10:00, 41.742 people generated digital entry forms in Romania (PLF).
